23rd July 1952 - Mr W A Purves ( reg. 7538) owned until 1956 but re-registered in
1955 - registered as no 7860
1957 - No listing in Lloyd's Register but put up for sale
4th Nov 1959 - Mr E N Brain
25th Nov 1960 - Mr Ellis (reg 9575)
1988 - Mr Graham Ellis (son of former owner)

If anyone can add any further information to the above we would love to hear from you. There are a few very interesting stories about Thordis but they are unconfirmed, although there are a lot of co-incidences and similar stories appearing from unrelated sources.
We would be extremely interested to hear from anyone who may have access to naval and secret service records in relation to Thordis around 1938-40.
